Does anyone have any experience of how long it took for a new car being registered by the DVLA to showing up online eg when searching for insurance?
I picked up my new car yesterday & it was only registered yesterday, but my insurance company still cant find it & for some reason when entering details manually cant find the correct model.
(Although searching manually on compare the market brings correct model up)
Dealership said 3 days - 1 month 🫠as September/March are DVLAs busiest times.
I don't really want to cancel my existing policy & pay associated fee & lose a years no claims bonus but will have to if I cant insure the car with my existing insurer!
I had 5 days free drive away insurance to get it home.
