Add something to my Waitrose basket…

Very ill with Covid and just realised that Waitrose delivery via Uber Eats to my postcode. Not a normal shopper of Waitrose, other than the odd treat or obscure ingredient but feel like I could pick up a few essentials today as well as some sneaky/posh treats might make me feel a bit better.

Brain fog however has been a big symptom this time and affecting my decision making so add something I might like to my basket.

Sweet, savoury, posh ingredient, ready meal, recommendation of good meat/fish…

The No 1 Santo Domingo ice cream is amazing and will definitely help you feel better!

I second that ice cream recommendation!

If you like yogurt there are some great options I've not spotted in other shops - all the Tim's Dairy ones (the vanilla is almost custard level of creamy vanilla!), Bonne Maman Rhubarb and strawberry, and their own brand 150g ones.

Their "essential" chicken is higher welfare standard than most other supermarkets but well priced.

Their quiches are good for an easy lunch/tea too.

Their "easy to cook" range could help with some easy dinners - particularly recommend the maple glazed gammon (currently 25% off). A lot of that range are 3 for £12 at the mo too.

Anything from the No 1 range - the thick Greek yoghurt, the ice creams (especially the coffee one), the cheeses, the specialty fruit, pastries, cakes especially Victoria sandwich or indulgent chocolate cake , raspberry panna cotta desserts, the sourdough pizzas are especially nice

hope you feel better soon

No1 Malbec if you fancy a bottle of red wine.

Almond croissants are on my list. The fruit and veg is also lovely so maybe a stir fry. But really it's the bakery section for me.

Just check if the offers apply ordering via Uber Eats , i work at Waitrose and I'm not sure if the offers are applicable ordering through on demand groceries.
