Vinted help

Hello,

I have had my first issue selling on Vinted. I sold a new item with labels on & the buyer is saying the item is sized wrong & doesn't fit them. It isn't, it's from a high street shop & fits as standard. What is the best thing to do, contact Vinted?

Did you take a photo of the label? If so suggest that she sellS it on. Or she can return it to you and pay the postage.

Not much help now but I usually show photos with a tape measure as women’s clothing is so variable

If you listed it as the size on the label it’s fine. It’s a them problem. It’s not your fault that they didn’t check to see what size they are in that shop.
They can sell it on.

Photos showed the label with size on clearly. Thank you for the advice.

I generally add measurements but often potential buyers will ask for eg pit-to-pit measurement. I think this is a case of buyer beware - your listing was fair.

It’s tough shit. For her I mean. If something doesn’t fit then you have to resell it yourself.

Or she can return it to you but she has to pay the postage. Give her the option but I wouldn’t pay for the return postage if you advertised size correctly.

I did do once when I stupidly advertised something as the wrong size!!

It's their problem. You listed the size correctly, Vinted clearly specifies that items that don't fit you are not considered 'not as described'.
If they raise an issue, Vinted will contact you to dispute the claim.
