Smelly rugby boots solution needed!

My son and his friend are sharing a flat with no outdoor space. They both play rugby and their boots are wet (and stink!). At home they’d have been chucked in the garden or shed to dry but that’s not an option for them. Has anyone got a smelly rugby boot solution? I’m thinking maybe a plastic sealed box with lid and some odour absorbing things (if you can buy such things) 🤷
Glad I’m not living in that flat!

You can buy brilliant things on Amazon called Boot Bananas for about £15. They are awesome and really help with smelly boots.

You can also get boot dryers (also on Amazon). My DH has one for his cycling shoes and it’s pretty effective.

My ds football boots are kept in a plastic shoe box with a lid in the conservatory. You can buy a set of 3 of the shoeboxes on Amazon.

YES!!!

Not only that but as they age they get brown spots like a really banana so you can see when it’s time to replace them. 😆😆😆

They neutralise smelly boots and shoes really well.
