Recommendations of areas to live in Cheshire for a family of 3 with a 1 year old

so myself and my partner are originally from south Manchester, when I fell pregnant we decided to move out of Manchester due to mainly crime rates and secondly the expense of houses.
we ended up moving to Warrington which is lovely but not the area I see us living in forever.

i want to look at moving next year, to the area where we’d like to live forever and bring my daughter up in, somewhere safe for my daughter to grow up.

I did originally always want to move to Sandbach/ Northwhich/ Nantwich eg due to the low crime rates and they are just lovely little places however my only concern is the lack of diversity in these little towns. My daughter is mixed race so I worry that she may be a very small % of children like her at school eg

my question is just advice really, where would use recommend a nice area to bring your family up in ? Would you sacrifice a lack of diversity for a nice area to bring your children up in?

thanks for any input!

What about jobs?
Will you need to look for new ones, or are they work from home.
What sort of budget are you thinking.
Do you have or want to stay close to family, and if so where are they.

Hi. Also thinking of moving to Sandbach. Also with a mixed race child, but more concerned it is gonna be too quiet!

The little Cheshire villages are not ethnically diverse but anywhere closer to a larger hub should be.

What don't you like about Warrington? It has lots of nice low crime bits around the edges, both North and south. So does Manchester, why did you rule those out?

If you can be more specific with budget, commuting needs, preferred environment (Village, Country Town, small city feel) you'll get good suggestions.

Also on the ethnicity v nice area. If it's a nice area racism is rarely tolerated, especially amongst kids. It tends to be the areas closer to cities with a more diverse ethnic mix, so you'd need a good budget to get the same house in a 'nice' area.

If you stay the same side of Chester as the M53/M56 junctions then the journey to Warrington/Manchester/Liverpool is pretty straightforward. Upton is a nice area of Chester which could work well
