We’re trying to plan our expenditure for the next 4 years, what’s a good split?

We’ve kind of figured out the “fun side of things” but we’re really struggling to figure out how much to set aside for home improvements.

We’re selling the house in 4 years, so we’re aware it’s not something we’d enjoy much ourselves, but also know the house needs money spent on it for ease of selling it.

The main things that need doing are:

mid size galley kitchen two bathrooms (one family, one en suite) garage conversion (I really need an office space, and we need more space for gym equipment/ storage) converting the downstairs bathroom into a utility room (mostly putting a worktop) two external doors carpets for upstairs plus staircase tiling the conservatory general redecoration

How much do you think we’d be looking at spending on that? The house is 25 years old and the kitchen and bathrooms are that old.

Again this is to be done within the next 4 years.

We want to figure out if we’re able to afford the car we want or not basically.

Thanks!
