Spotify playlist recommendations 🙏🏻

I was born in the 80s, grew up in the 90s. I love music but I never remember the names of artists or songs.

I cultivated music I liked but as my kids grew up I fell out of listening to what I liked (I can’t wear headphones so I only really listen when someone else is around)

I’ve switched to a Spotify family plan so they can listen to their own but I can’t find tolerable playlists. Please help!

I miss going “I’ve not heard this song in years! I love this song!!”

If you type in 90s music into Spotify it will bring up lots of playlists from that era, other eras are available!
That's how I created mine, looking at different years, playing them and then adding songs I liked to my own playlist.

I did try this but I found so much of it insufferable - and I can’t have that alternative a music taste! Maybe I just need to commit a bit of time scrolling through a few things feeding the algorithm a bit.

Part of the issue is when I do play “my favourites” it includes the music I put on for the kids in the car and their tastes are MENTAL 🥲

I think it buggers up my algorithms

they both have autism so I’m happy to let them listen to what regulates them , and a lot of the music I like always seems to be about sex or swearing if the kids are in the car lol!
