Has anyone been having trouble with Amazon recently? I pay for prime and an item I needed was suppose to be delivered tonight but instead it’s now coming by the 16th and they won’t refund me till then! I won’t need the item by that point and I can’t buy it elsewhere without the refund, is there anything else I can do?

You could try their Customer Service online chat thing - They might be able to override the system and cancel the order.

Go to: "Your Account" - "Customer Service" - "Something Else" - "Contact Us"

That route should bypass the generic answers and get you through to the Chat window.

Maybe they can’t refund it because it’s already been dispatched? Can you return it when it arrives?

Yes I can but obviously that’s annoying as I pay for prime for same day/ next day deliveries not to wait 3/4 days for something as I could just get it cheaper elsewhere then I usually use Amazon because of how fast it is so was wondering if anyone else was having problems with them recently as this is the second time it’s happened despite claiming it would arrive same day.

Return it when it comes and select arrived too late as the reason. (I can’t remember the exact wording but it’s something like that)

Yes I’m aware I can return it when it comes, my point is I now can’t afford another one so have to go without. I’m wondering if anyone else has had problems with the prime service not delivering when they are meant to.
