PTSD & relaxation/meditation

Has anyone found any good relaxation/meditation/guided breathing type videos, or methods when going through a ptsd flare-up?

I’m struggling to release stress at the moment, and it feels very unsafe to me trying to and relax or let my guard down. Normally I’d exercise but I’m struggling with that too because I’m holding so much tension through my neck and shoulders that I have back, shoulder and head pain.

I’m finding Wim Hoff guided breathing helpful because the hyper ventilation sort of matches my stress, and then the breath hold feels more like staying in control than letting go.

Wondering if anyone else has any ideas? Or things that helped?

My mind wanders without something to keep it on track, so nice music, and sea sounds won’t cut it at the moment.

Therapy isn’t even a remote possibility right now. It’s just not affordable.

I would stay away from anything that makes you hyperventilate.

Focus on long deep breathing techniques. Try different yoga styles of breathing perhaps but adapt to suit your nervous system which needs to be calmed not activated. Keep it slow is my advice..
