I have tickets for the rugby on Sunday at Ashton Gate Stadium. We need to drive as the train would be too complicated - there's a dog involved.
Can anyone suggest where I should park? Happy to park and ride if it's available. Thanks.

Unfortunately all the parking in the link above is sold out. We only got the tickets yesterday on a late release. Any other ideas please?

You could park at Brunel Lock car park at the bottom of Hotwells Road and walk across to the stadium from there. Takes about 10 mins or so

There's a park and ride in Long Ashton, it's very close, actually people walk from there. Parking around the stadium is mostly restricted or for a length of time that isn't sufficient for a rugby match.

Depending on here you're travelling from, for the football there is a match day park and ride from Avonmouth/portway which is just off the M5 and is super easy to use.

Caveat that I don't know if that is also running for the rugby!

If you're a member of David Lloyd you can park there and walk (it's next to the park and ride)

Thank you for the recommendation. Parked easily and watched a brill, but damp, match!

I’m glad you managed to have a good time. It’s so much easier when parking isn’t a hassle!

Edit. Didn't read the date and thought it was in the future

Was about to say park by me and bus in but it was for yesterday - for anyone attending next weekends matches try parking along the a369 corridor and bussing in (not on the road it’s clear way for a bit) or long Ashton park and ride. Alternatively you can park in the outlying towns and bus in eg Portishead, long Ashton or Nailsea.
