Best way to update GP records?

Having a phone consultation with the GP soon to discuss DC health issue.
problem is there is no medical history/docs on DC's file because we lived in a non-English speaking country for 10yrs and since we got back have had private treatment via DHs medical insurance.
Do I just send in the correspondence/results etc I have and leave it at that. Or do I also send in a one pager giving her medical history before coming to the UK &/or since? What usual?

If you have printed letters in English then photocopy them and send to GP and ask for them to be scanned into medical records. Depending on where you are GP notes might not be accessible to a hospital so if you have a hospital appointment take another photocopied set with you. If they aren't in English then type up an English summary and do as above with that.
