Ok ... as the name suggests Is There Something We Need To Know!

In the last hour 6 x CHINOOKS have flown over Chiswick / Turnham Green (West London) probably going to Northolt ... we see the odd one or two every now and again but SIX!

Any clues ...

Round here they often go round in 3s or 6s. In fact seeing one on it's own is less common.

I live quite close to raf northolt. The chinooks went in and out a few times today making an awful racket. Last time the us president was over the airport was stupidly busy with "the beast" and all the other stuff being dropped in and taken out. It was cool to see Marine 1 coming and going though

They circle very low over our house regularly. They have been as low as twice the height of the house once. We also had Trump go over the house. They are noisy! It must be weird when it's a rare sight, I only pay attention now when they are low or turning

At least one Northolt aircraft spotting group's facebook page agree with some ^^ pps - that this is very much in keeping with what they have seen when previous POTUSs (e.g. Biden) have visited.

Talk from them of more Chinooks and maybe Ospreys arriving over the next few days.
