D-Mannose for UTIs

I've ordered some D-Mannose and its just arrived - in powder form with a 1000mg scoop. The instructions say take 1000mg with water 'once or twice per day' - what do people recommend? Do most people take it twice a day? Thankfully it doesn't taste bad!

If you’re treating an active or the beginnings of a UTI take twice a day. For prevention once a day.

I would also be interested to hear of any success stories!

It has worked well for me in the past, don’t get UTIs at the moment thanks to HRT.

I haven’t needed to ask for antibiotics in 2 years. On Saturday I got the feeling and immediately took 4 capsules, another 4 12 hours later. I’m still taking 8 but from tomorrow will just take 4 for about a week. I should probably take it as prevention more regularly but always forget.
