Great party play list tracks please

I'm reposting as I think I posted in an unhelpful section before.
I need help!

I need a great playlist for a party, need to start with civilized music that allows conversation. Will undoubtedly erupt into drunken lunacy after several hours.
Looking for old and new but generally well known stuff, (for late 40 year olds maybe early 50s if that makes a difference)
I'm aware my taste in music is somewhat more niche so it's not going to cut it overall

You can obviously just download a party playlist but, as people get drunk, I think they love songs they can sing shout along to.

Usually I just put on a playlist from YouTube, then as the night goes on take requests or just play whatever I think suits the mood or everyone just takes a turn at playing what they like. I try to let things happen organically or then it just comes over as forced not natural.

this is one we did for a 50th recently, it might give you some ideas. There’s quite a lot of 80s. More modern stuff (for dancing) in the last 3rd or so
