I try helping her but she gets frustrated…how long will it take?

How old is she? Have you tried her with a balance bike?

Get a balance bike or just take the pedals off and let her move around like that. Once they can balance put the pedals back on it is by far the quickest way. With stabilisers they don’t need to learn to balance, they just get used to the bike bouncing on one stabiliser to the other.

Does she want to learn? If you can, do short bike sessions (10 or 15 minutes) every day rather than a 2 hour session. Balance bike is definitely good.

Take the pedals off the bike and lower the saddle so they can comfortably put their feet on the ground.
Then let them play on the bike so they get used to balancing, using brakes, cornering and speed.
Once they're confident on that, pedals back on and again, with no pressure, let them explore.

Balance bike or take the pedals off and then just let her do whatever. Both of mine had balance bikes from maybe 2. The one I actively tried to teach was frustrating. The other one I just left to his own devices. We eventually bought him a bike with pedals at maybe 4/5 and just left it for him to play with. He’d push around on it like on a balance bike a bit. Then one day, he just hopped on and pedalled off. 🤷🏻‍♀️ He taught himself just by trial and error.

My son learnt a little bit after his fourth birthday, we did a little bit everyday and used the towel trick to help with his balance. He had a balance bike prior that he was very confident on. It took him about 3/4 weeks. He was very up and down with it, some days didn’t want to do it so we literally did about 2 minutes just to keep up momento. He now rides absolutely everywhere and is so confident. I think one day it just clicked

Take off the stabilisers, run alongside and keep practicing.
