Sometimes 1 am
sometimes 5 am

Meadowflower2023 · 05/09/2025 20:13

12:30 (was in bed for 10:20) then around 4ish

agree with @DramaAlpaca they say you shouldn’t check the time as it hinders being able to get back to sleep but most nights I can’t help myself as the echo show thing is in sight as I get out of bed.

Disasterclass · 05/09/2025 20:14

Between 3-4am. Then have to read for ages to have any chance of getting back to sleep

EffectivelyDecluttering · 05/09/2025 20:15

I didn't last night. If I do, which is about twice a week, it tends to be between 4 and 5ish (go to bed about 11.30). Does depend what I've drunk and how late. Late 50s.

ThisCanFuckOffToo · 05/09/2025 20:15

Rarely, but if I do it’s usually between 3-5. We’re often asleep by ten and then wake up around 5-6.

I used to have to get up every night but it has improved, I haven’t changed anything so imagine it’s hormonal

tinytemper66 · 05/09/2025 20:15

Ooh any time between 2 and 4…

bluechilli47 · 05/09/2025 20:15

Around 5am. Usually after an hour lying there thinking about it. 50+ Peri

devildeepbluesea · 05/09/2025 20:17

About 3am. I’m na early to bed gal so have often been asleep 6 hrs by then, but I’ll usually then sleep til 5.50.

GarlicPint · 05/09/2025 20:17

After five hours' sleep. My hours are weird & unpredictable, so it took longer than it should to realise I was getting up for the bathroom and thinking I was 'up up'. Now going straight back to bed, almost always back to sleep.

You all REALLY needed to know this, didn't you? 😂

marilyntaylor · 05/09/2025 20:19

Never. I’m 64.

Sunnyside4 · 05/09/2025 20:21

Usually anything between midnight and 4am. Occasionally twice if I've been out eating and drinking. My husband is the same. We have a family member who doesn't drink after 8am, but we just drink what we want when - in fact I always take a glass up at night and have a few sips between switching off the light.

Delphigirl · 05/09/2025 20:22

Age 56. Never. Go before I sleep, go again when I wake up.

RelativePitch · 05/09/2025 20:22

50 years old and never.
Don't know if c-sections helped on that front.

RaininSummer · 05/09/2025 20:23

One thirty and four thirty and seven thirty if still in bed unless I go at midnight before sleeping. Joys of meno.

WizardOfTopsham · 05/09/2025 20:23

Whenever the cat wakes me up.

gamerchick · 05/09/2025 20:24

Why? Are you just looking for pee stories?

SliceofTosst · 05/09/2025 20:25

Don't check the time on purpose in case it's 5am then I can't sleep thinking I need to get up soon.

Idontknowhatnametochoose · 05/09/2025 20:27

Every 2-3 hours.

I never sleep through the night.

SeaAndStars · 05/09/2025 20:28

Once at 2am, except when I'm camping and then it's never. I can't understand it.

CatCaretaker · 05/09/2025 20:28

Never!

CharlotteStreetW1 · 05/09/2025 20:32

Usually between about 4 and 5 but one night this week I actually slept right through for the first time in decades! (Age 61.)

SparklyGlitterballs · 05/09/2025 20:33

Really envious of the people saying never. I'm up 2 or 3 times. It's rare to go more than 2hrs without waking due to aching joints and then once I've roused a bit to turn, I start thinking whether I need the loo 😢

LividYosemite · 05/09/2025 20:34

Adding Sleep Privilege to all the hidden privileges people with unbroken bladders must enjoy...

Cryingatthegym · 05/09/2025 20:39

Never!

Unless one of the kids wake me up, in which case I always go before going back to sleep.

Sunnydayze43 · 05/09/2025 20:48

With the combination of upping my fluids and the cooler nights, sometimes 2:00- 3:00 at the earliest, and 5:00 a.m. at the latest, get up for the day at 6:00 a.m. so don't fall back asleep at 5:00.
