Working.

Walking to work in the sunshine

Just done a workout. Off for a facial later and pilates. And starting a new book.

Also working! But I've got bright red tights on and had a very cheerful breakfast if that counts.

Ahhhh, I'm loving it. I've got the day off, so currently in bed, curtains wide open, pot of tea, bircher and peanut butter toast with crosswords, and a bit of MN. I'll do some sworkit in a bit, then shower and mooch indoors. I'm loving the heavy rain for a change.

I’m going to knit a snowman 😂

I Am at work, in a temp building that’s made from what feels like cardboard. It’s absolutely pouring down and I can’t walk to the main building for my tea break as it’s a building site and extremely muddy. So currently doing very little until I can nip to the shop for a proper take away coffee and a nice bun.

I'm in my bed, heated blanket on with my cat snuggling on me, reading MN of course..

Breakfast in bed, going to clear out the garage in a bit, will have the pure sunshine that is my youngest grandchild after school, gym class and swimming this evening, then dinner will be something with a tomato sauce I made yesterday with tomatoes from my allotment.

Ask me tonight whether any of that fine theory happened.

Just had beans and cheese in potato cakes. Now watching tv in bed with a cuppa and my dogs

Went for a swim at the Lido at 0630. Proper wet! But it was light when we got out and I always feel good afterwards. (No lightening here or they’d have closed the pool PDQ)

At work with trousers slowly drying from walk in this morning.

coffee, cake and a good book.
Only other plan today is to get through all my laundry (which I dry indoors with a dehumidifier so wet weather doesnt bother me).

Sounds bliss. I went out for a while to run some errands but I’m back home now loving being indoors watching the rain. The cat is somewhere about but he’ll probably join me soon. x

Winter proofing. Luxuriating in the sound of the rain outside, whilst googling ‘best umbrellas’. (I have one, but it isn’t quite up to the job.)

Wore my new kagool for the first time on August 31st. It may be the nicest thing I’ve ever owned - 100% cotton and water just rolls off it - so I’m looking forward to my next walk.

Also just made an appointment to have my winter coat altered to fit better.

I love this weather - and the clothes that go with it!

Took DS5 and Ds1 to an indoor trampoline park then we went out for lunch after. It’s the last day of the holidays so wanted to do something nice! Currently watching Harry Potter and thinking about going for a walk along the seafront because the suns coming out.
