For various reasons, a brand new Sistema lunchbox was left with half-eaten food in it for a few days. When it returned it was quite furry.
I scraped out the mess, soaked it in a bleach solution for a while, scrubbed it and put it through the dishwasher. But it’s still giving me the slight ick thinking of using it again
