Do these sound like hot flushes?

Im 48. Recently started having days where I feel like ive got a "heavy head", bit if a headache, thirsty, , and on these days have 2 or more "episodes" of suddenly feeling hot, nauseous, dizzy. Like I need to sit down.

Does this sound like menopausal flushes?

I've been through the hideousness of very very heavy periods, flooding etc. Had an endo ablation. (Not entirely successful..) No one suggested it was due to menopause or even periods, atm.

To add, during these apparent hot flushes, I feel very hot, and clammy/sweaty
Not sure how I look as have so far been out when it happens

Hiya.
At your age and based on what you described, Yes, they are menopause symptoms.
I have had similar symptoms in the past like yours. I had to call 111. There were days I felt like I was unstable, constantly thinking I was going to fall. I also had a few night sweats and cold flushes too! Some days had to loosen up or wear lots of layers. Btw, I'm still getting a few days of heavy bleeding.
I didn't have my own GP last year; I went to see different doctors. One said one thing, and another said something else. Anyway, only one was more thorough with me and showed greater empathy.
Take care. xx

@Artisanna thank you. I do "run hot" anyway, but usually in the morning when getting ready/rushing around. This is pretty awful, I genuinely felt like I was going to faint at some points. I will see my GP, she was really helpful with the heavy periods - didn't mention menopause but did actually help! I do still get periods after the ablation, but nowhere near as bad.
