Does anyone have a Dyson Airwrap that can tell me how to clean the god damn filter?

Help!

I recently bought the airwrap
(this one)

aparantly I have to clean the filter once a month.

i have googled the shit out of it and all videos show as though I am supposed to have a cleaning tool for it but there is not one in the box and even looking on the link where I bought it it doesn’t show a cleaning brush.

so what am I supposed to use?
I don’t want to risk ruining it as it cost me a lot 😬

hoping there’s some experts out there

I've got a Dyson hairdryer and don't have a brush, I just remove it and run under the tap, then wait till its fully dry then put back on.

There's a video on Youtube on how to clean filters without a brush - it didn't like the link I tried to post.

I also have the hairdryer and no brush. I remove the filter and use a toothbrush and paper towel to clean the inner part of the filter (the bit that's part of the hairdryer) and for ten removable bit either a dry cloth if not too dusty or I rinse it in water.

You can buy them on Amazon for £6.
You really should get one as I broke my first Airwrap because I must have thrown the brush away and didn’t know I was supposed to clean the filter.
Now I use it every time.

@happylandflowers what do you call the brushes you can buy on Amazon?

My Airwrap is second hand, had no idea there was a filter to clean! Every day a school day. Thanks OP

I wash the detachable part and let it air dry. I use a compressed air spray to clean the inner filter. The kind used to clean keyboards etc.

I searched for: dyson airwrap filter cleaning brush

it was the first one that came up.

I just wash it and give it a gentle scrub with an old clean toothbrush. Then leave it to air dry.

Honestly, I didn’t even realise I had a brush for ages. It’s in a black box at the bottom of a large black case, they couldn’t have made it more invisible
