Recommend me a tablet please!

I want to get a tablet for work. I work away from home and don’t want to drag around a laptop. I need it to take and keep track of notes, email etc but nothing fancy like needing to draw or do technical things.

I love my Samsung galaxy I've had one for years, i am an android person so people might say iPad is better.
