As I popped to the shop today I found myself thinking this may be the last day of the year for shorts… there was a definite chill in the air here!

I pretty much loathe all soups so certainly don't think about making it or eating it in the winter but is definitely feeling cooler and I am now having to think about what to wear on my feet. The skirt and sockless shoe situation is definitely due a review soon

Cheese and Onion Jackets for tea (with salad). Curtains closed, PJs and slipper socks, heating on. Autumn has arrived. 🍂

It was 19 degrees and sunny in Cumbria today - I was at work in leggings and a t-shirt and feeling a tad warm

We have 18 degrees and thunderstorms forecast tomorrow. Which is nice.

I’ve put on my cosy fluffy dressing gown and my cat is in 7 th heaven 🐾.

Same! In the end I did an Asian soup with rice noodles and shred the chicken into it.

Had to put my cardi on this morning to go to work.

Still in summer clothes, but with a jacket. Fluffy slippers rediscovered and bolognaise made yesterday!

I feel attacked

19 degrees in April and I'm making ice lollies, 19 degrees in September and I'm making roast tomato soup!

It’s cold and rainy out - I’m in the south east and my house is still 25 degrees upstairs! it takes weeks for it to cool down after the summer heat. It’s a New build so awful in summer but easy to heat in winter! I can’t wait till it drops to about 20 inside.. Then I’ll be happy 😃 and ill sleep better!
