I need advice please

I did something something that might have legal consequences for me now.
I thinking picking up the phone to make an appointment with a solicitor would be the best course of action right now in case the police calls to me.

I am nervouse about making a call.

Has anyone beeing in a similar situation before?

If you have commited an offence and are arrested then you will be offered a solicitor at the police station.
You will get an opportunity to speak to the solicitor regarding the charges before you get interviewed and they will advise you what to do.

Why do you think the police are on to you? How long ago was the incident? Were there any witnesses?
