Robot vacuum and mop

I'm thinking about getting a robot vacuum that mops as well, but how do they work? Do they do both separately and need to charge in between vacuuming and mopping, or is there a simultaneous function?

I have an Roomba irobot combo. It vacuums and mops simultaneously, suction at the front, and drags a mopping head at the back, if that makes sense. You can also set it to vacuum only, and if you have asked it to vac and mop, it will lift its mop head and only vac when it encounters carpet or rugs.
I would say the mopping works okay, but mainly for removing that gritty feeling on the floor and light spills, it's not great on more sticky or dried on marks.

Aaah that does make sense, I couldn't picture it. I have a vacuum only one arm and it's starting to glitch so thinking ahead. It would be great to come home to a fresh floor everyday (in between proper mops).
