It’s a novel about a girl who’s in a road accident at the beginning after - I think - seeing a local man shagging a cow?! I feel like she had a bad relationship with her dad (not the cow shagger) which somehow improves. Unlikely as it sounds I think it’s a comedy, set in Yorkshire, probably last 5-10 years.
