Why don’t supermarkets or M&S etc sell chicken breast anymore?
not everyone wants drumsticks, thighs 😡

I've never had a problem getting chicken breasts from any of the supermarkets, maybe its just a supply problem at your local M&S?

TonTonMacoute · 29/08/2025 13:09

Come to my supermarket. I much prefer drumsticks and thighs and they only ever have breasts! 🤷‍♀️

I noticed this in my local supermarket yesterday. I could get them but only in large packs. Smaller packs were all thighs. There used to be more choices.

MiddleAgedDread · 29/08/2025 13:13

i've bought them from Aldi and Sainsburys in the last 2 weeks

treacledan71 · 29/08/2025 13:16

They do boneless ones but you used to be able to get chicken quarters with the wing and skin on like get at the chippy.

TheTecknician · 29/08/2025 17:12

They're still around in all the supermarkets I use. Sometimes they're now called 'fillets' or 'steaks' - perhaps those words are meant to sound more refined!

CaptainMyCaptain · 29/08/2025 18:06

They still do but thighs and drumsticks are better. The meat near the bone is always tastier.

Mumofyellows · 29/08/2025 18:09

Ocado and Tesco do?? I never buy thighs or drumsticks and have never had any issue with getting breast!

Mancity08 · 29/08/2025 23:49
