Soft Summer colour palette

Ideas for Autumn outfits?

I love navy, white and red. Though I have tried some shades from the soft summer palette and they do look good on me, particularly greens. Dark hair so I always went for stronger colours before. Not so keen on the dusty colours of soft summer.

The soft summer colour palette is literally summery. How to adapt for other seasons?

I’m a soft summer. In the winter I wear a lot of pinks, purples and teals/navies plus forest greens and browns. Various shades of beige/ecru and winter white work as neutrals. True red/white is a bit much for a soft summer, but burgundy/port red and creams/soft whites/light greys look nice. You can also wear slightly faded or softened black. I have a black cashmere jumper and the fuzziness of the cashmere stops it looking too stark. What don’t you like about the dusty colours? Soft summer is about gently greying everything out and reducing the contrast. Too much contrast and you’ll get a bit lost.

Thank you @JennieTheZebra You explain how to use and blend the colours so well.

I guess I feel as though the colours are a bit washed out. Almost like they went in the wrong wash and lost their brightness and mixed a bit.

I dug out a cream top and it looks so much better on than the bright white I would usually go for.
