Would you chance it and go?

I have been trying to get front row tickets for Ricky Gervais for years and finally managed it, Show is on the 1st September. Been looking forward to it for ages.

Five days ago I slipped a disc in my back and I'm still in a lot of pain, Walking and standing hurts a lot, I'm ok sitting down for a while but then it starts to hurt and I have to lie down to ease it.

It's not got any better in the last few days so not sure it will be ok by the 1st. Painkillers are not touching it at the moment.

I want to go but at this point in time I'm not sure it would be a good idea.

Would you chance it if it were you?

I damaged the discs in my back last year.
I had extensive physio and she I needed to change position as often as possible, pref every 15 minutes. The extreme pain I was in lasted a couple of weeks and then the pain was still really very bad for almost 3 months. Sorry not the best news but I had damaged 3 discs, had an emergency MRI. Plus we are all different but the same for me in that painkillers hardly touched it.

I wouldn't unless I was ok to sit in a wheelchair. Otherwise listen to your body and let it guide you.
I'm sorry for both your pain and disappointment. I had to miss a concert I really wanted to be at for a back problem.

Won't it be more frustrating to go and probably have to leave before there's even a part-way break?
(While you can move in the seat usually chairs in events are small and hard?)
