Does anyone remember…

A while ago a post/thread about dealing with (possibly) an ex who was abusive or not so nice and might of even mentioned grey rocking, however one reply offered a way to respond to the ex that went something like “yeah let me know how you get on with that” or words to that effect - it was a one-liner that so impressed me with its simplistic strength!

I thought I’d saved the post and/or took a photo but sadly cannot find it, does anyone recall the post/line please?

did you comment at all on the thread?
if so you can advance search your user name and all the threads you've posted on will come up.
then you can rummage through those till the title or your comment rings a bell.

I don’t remember it but there is a technique called yellow rocking which is less harsh than gray rocking … look into that if you can’t find the thread… it might be helpful x

To be honest I thought I’d bookmarked the post, I’ve bookmarked loads and yet there is only 2 in the list 🤔

I have searched but no joy.

Still thinking about the topic of thread, it was possibly about an ex and having to coparent with someone who was on occasion demanding? the ex was asking something or maybe suggesting going to court for visitation and either the OP or another posted “yeah let me know how you get on” type response

Genuinely thought I’d taken a picture or saved the post, it’s bugging me!

I've seen similar advice - 'Let me know how that turns out', or 'Let me know how that works out' might fit the bill.

ARichtGoodDram · 30/08/2025 01:13

That was on one of the threads where another post was an ex saying he was going to court for access to the "child" and the child turned out to be 22 or 27

I remember that. I think it was ‘let me know how you get on’. It was the perfect response lol.
