Sat outside the dentist and going to have a lower wisdom tooth out, I’m terrified
she is hoping to get it out normally but it might be surgical with local. I’m worried I won’t be numb and will feel pain
ugh!

You will be numb. You’ll be fine. They are experts in what they do.

I keep telling myself that! I think it’s previous experience from being a redhead and people not realising how much local I need

I'm having mine out soon. All the best OP, it will be fine x

Well they were brilliant! My own dentist said it needed sedation and hospital as it had curved roots next to a nerve
it took 25 mins to numb me and 5 mins to get it out and was the most gentle extraction I’ve ever had

They are more gentle at the dentist than the hospital.

Glad it went well 💐

Just don’t over rinse and dislodge the clot!
Dry socket is to be avoided at all costs.

oh I had that when I smoked! Last upper wisdom tooth was fine as I sort of just held the salt water in my mouth
