Would you eat a home made fruit crumble today that had been made on Saturday and kept in the fridge since?

Yes, but only if you share with me!

Meadowfinch · 28/08/2025 12:20

yes. Butter & flour won't go off in four days. The fruit has been cooked so bacteria would have been killed. Has it been kept covered?

PoppySaidYesIKnow · 28/08/2025 12:20

I would if it looks ok !

BarbaraVineFan · 28/08/2025 12:21

Yes, covered

Yes it’ll be fine - we made brownies Saturday and they’re fine with similar ingredients

LeeshaPaper · 28/08/2025 12:22

Yes

Sunshineismyfavourite · 28/08/2025 12:22

Depends on the fruit I think but probably not. If it were soft fruits then they can go off and mouldy quite quickly. If it were apples/rhubarb then less likely to be a problem.

AllrightNowBaby · 28/08/2025 12:22

Yes! It will be fine 😊

minipie · 28/08/2025 12:22

Yes I would. Especially if you aregoing to reheat it thoroughly.

minipie · 28/08/2025 12:23

Oh and yes do a check for any mould on the fruit. Won’t hurt you but might taste grim

BarbaraVineFan · 28/08/2025 12:23

Thanks all! I think we will go ahead. Planning to reheat thoroughly and serve piping hot!

Yes.

MagpiePi · 28/08/2025 12:24

How do you make it last that long??
