A little bit woo..

I keep hearing a sound like a key or something small and metal dropping in the house. But there’s nothing on the floor and I can’t find the source of the noise. Is it a ghost that has been locked out / in and is trying to escape?

Probably not- can’t they walk through walls?

Our radiators make this noise randomly from time to time, even when not in use like now.

Either:

A) Water pipes expanding/contracting
B) The ghost of Great Aunt Millicent trying to use a key in a door which no longer exists because the house has been remodelled since she lived there... and died there... in an armchair... in the corner of your living room.

Hadn’t thought of the walking through walls thing.. maybe it’s a coin and they’ve been searching for money? They’ll be out of luck here!

lol!! If the ghost of a long dead old lady starts getting her haunt on I will be impressed! I’m now imagining her as like a Beyoncé type diva and the noise was her twerking! Getting my zombie moves ready..

Electronic toy? We had one that was silent for some time, and it then started emitting random squeaks.
