Dry socket

I had my wisdom tooth extracted 13 days ago and on day 3 I developed dry socket which I had packed a couple of times. Pain has reduced massively which is amazing but I’m still feeling very tender and I still struggle to eat anything other than soft food. Has anyone else had this and how long did full recovery take?

Tooth extraction causes pain with sweet and salty foods, hot and cold for about a week or 2 weeks. You cold try pain killers and also mouthwash, make sure it has fluoride in it.

I had to have mine reopened, the bone cleaned and this allowed a proper clot to form. It was hell.
