Best way to find a cleaner if word of mouth hasn't turned anything up?

Cleaner we've had for 6 years or so is retraining for a new career, so we're now cleaner-less and asking around hasn't produced any leads. What is the best way to find a decent, trustworthy cleaner otherwise? We've always found someone via friends or family before, so not sure of best way to proceed; might we be best of just using an agency? We need someone ideally for 4 hours in one day each week.

Try the local Nextdoor app. They are generally people with regular local clients, rather than agency staff where you might get a different person avery couple of weeks. Those with their own local business (my friend has her own cleaning business) generally work hard to keep their clients as it’s their bread and butter. An agency person gets an hourly wage no matter what sort of job they do.

Thanks, yeah - it's looking like my best bet.
