Just asking what does hot weather dose to you.
I dont hate the summer sun but i really dont like it.
I gives me awful migraines and strangely a tight chest.
I also come out in rashes.
Every year i dread the the heat coming.
So thought id ask netters if any of you get the same.

It saps my energy

Becs258 · 26/08/2025 16:17

Lack of energy, swollen ankles and aching legs. Really not a fan anymore.

MrsRobinsonsHandprints · 26/08/2025 16:19

It makes me feel alive. Happy, healthier, more positive. I wish for perpetual summer.

I sunburn ridiculously easily, sometimes in minutes. I get heat induced hives. I get grumpy and all my energy is sapped from the heat and especially from the sun. 🌞

I rarely go outside in summer. I absolutely loathe the season.

CurbsideProphet · 26/08/2025 16:20

Migraines and more difficulty sleeping than usual. I've been feeling wiped out for a couple of months now.

ZiggyZowie · 26/08/2025 16:21

Sweaty under boobs, hot neck , swollen foot

I now wear very dark glasses with a cap and I wear a neck fan . Don't go out between 11 and 3

Neck fan with 3 speeds is a godsend on bus recently which had no opening windows

Makes me think I'm having the menopause as I'm hot and sweaty all the time, I'm 48.

Me too! I love it!

ZiggyZowie · 26/08/2025 16:24

Can't be menopausal with me as I'm 67 but I find it tiring.
Woman on till at Tesco said " lovely day'
I replied " if you like that sort of thing,I don't"

I can't take it past 20c. Just come out in a rash and sweat loads

ItsFridayIminLoveJS · 26/08/2025 16:26

Helps my pain... enormously.
Gives me a vitamin D boost.
Lifts my mood.
Better than any medication .

Greenalien1 · 26/08/2025 16:53

I really wish I liked the sun but even staying really hydrated it makes me feel irritable and sometimes even a bit confused like I'm not mentally all there

Goatalone · 26/08/2025 17:04

It makes me feel depressed and drives me indoors.

smallglassbottle · 26/08/2025 17:13

Hot, sweaty, bad tempered, headaches, sinusitis, tired. I have to have two showers and hairwashes a day as well which makes me cross, because one should be enough, but my hair gets wet with sweat.

GentleSheep · 26/08/2025 17:18

I get dehydrated very, very easily and start feeling off colour. Just my age I guess, I managed OK when younger!

Me too but it also makes my already low blood pressure even lower. So I’m very happy but somewhat dizzy 😵‍💫
