What is this monstrosity that I found in my local Tesco this week…?!

Didn't they deep fry that in Scotland last week?!

Okay, so while the photo is under review, any guesses on what I spotted? I couldn’t see any other threads about it, but perhaps you’ve all seen it and been “meh. Whatevs!”

I hadn’t heard about that, but wouldn’t surprise me if someone tried it!

They’ve been in MnS for a while. I won’t be rushing out to try one.

They are following in the footsteps of the M&S strawberries and cream sandwich.

Blergh! Looks like a pimped up version of Fairy Bread.

Tried it. Didn’t like it at all. Worse than M&S strawberry sandwich in my opinion.
I think it’s jam, cream cheese, and vanilla buttercream.

Yes exactly, Isn’t fairy bread just bread and butter with sprinkles on?
with all the jam and buttercream, this sounds minging.
has anyone tried one and liked it?

Its brioche style bread its not normal white bread and butter.

Its basically a jam sandwich with a difference.

Full fat soft cheese, strawberry jam, sprinkles, vanilla frosting in a brioche style white bread. Sounds better than what you describe but definitely won’t be trying it.

I like cake and I like sandwiches but there’s really no need to combine the two.

That one was lush.

Tesco one just looks to me like a jam sarnie.

it’s not a “wash-n-go! Why take two bottles into the shower” situation. I’d like to eat both my sandwich and my cake as two separate and delicious things, not one disappointing one.
