Advice on absent father

I’m currently 7.5 months pregnant (absolutely overjoyed never thought it would happen!) baby is a product of a fling he’s very aware but doesn’t acknowledge. I don’t want my baby to have a blank name where father should be on the certificate. How tricky is it to get his name on?

He needs to be present at the time of registering the birth or he won’t be on there.

Assuming you aren’t married and are in England, he needs to be with you when you register your baby and give his consent to be on the birth certificate.

Huh, its far better for your baby to have a blank name than a guy who isnt interested

Think about taking your baby abroad for a start- youd have to get his permission if he was on the birth certificate
