Changes to improve my life

Hello! I’m a 52 year old procrastinator who wants to change. These are the changes I want to make to ‘improve’ my life:

  • lose 15kg to come off statins
  • exercise for 20 min 6 times a week
  • get a crown on my side tooth; tooth whitening and composite bonding
  • take daily vitamin supplements
  • declutter
  • read more rather than phone scrolling
I have no excuse for not doing any of these things except laziness. I’m determined to change. Antone else with anything? Or anyone else as bad as me 😔!!

Take the vitamins before bed and keep a book beside the bed to read until you fall asleep.

Why do you want to come off statins? At 52 it’s probably worth staying on them, unless you have terrible side effects or any contraindications.

i also want to get some dental work done but there’s always more fun stuff to pay for.

My things are to make some rapid career progress and improve my pension outlook.

YYH statins -I will continue as no side-effects
But will still lose weight
Adding on pension stuff thank you!
I’ve booked to get my ears syringed tomorrow to see if it’s wax or I’m actually losing my hearing

Losing weight if you need to is definitely worth doing, but hard so maybe concentrate your efforts!

Good luck with the ear syringing!

I am like you, op. Queen of Procrastination. I’m ashamed!

So I go the gym a few times per week. But that’s it apart from work. I need to broaden my interests. And do a career change!
