Best ad blocker

I am sick and tired of ads on every site I look at, particularly this one. Please give me your recommendations for free ad blockers for safari.

Not sure about Safari as I don’t think you can add extensions to it but I downloaded Brave, been using it just over a week and my god the difference! No more ads every 3 posts on here. No more ads taking up the entire screen!
So far I’ve no complaints about it and I’m using it as my default browser. I was able to copy all of my bookmarks and saved data from Safari.
