*Personal Question* How often do you and your partner have sex?

DH and I have been together for nearly 6 years, on average I think we DTD 2-3 times a week which I have no complaints about, though my sex drive is a bit higher than his so I would be happy with a bit more frequency!

Do you have kids? We would have sex 3 times a week too but now I’m pregnant and it’s 0 times a week. I fear this might be a new thing for the rest our lives after children.

We do, teenagers now, so we are good at staying silent-ish 😂. It’s easier when they are at school or out with friends but it’s been a long few weeks!

There’s definitely times where it dwindles a bit due to life stuff, but it’s important to us to make time for it. Your body is going through it right now, and will be for a while after giving birth, so I wouldn’t worry too much. Saying that, when you feel ready again, enjoy it!

Been together over 30 years. We probably average 2x a week. Some weeks 4x , some weeks 0x
it depends what’s going on. If one of us is away obvs or someone has a bad cold etc. then it drops away but then on other weeks when we have free afternoons we might have a couple of extra sessions so yeah, I’d say average 2x weekly

Together 20 years. 3 kids who are adult or nearly. We probably average at 2 or 3 x a week.

Same as this but together 30 years, love the absolute bones of him and we enjoy the sex side a lot.

@Amby99 we have a toddler and I'm now pregnant, pre pregnancy we still managed almost daily, since I've been pregnant it's definitely less, but I'm first trimester so exhausted!!

Married 20 years average about once a week.

DC are teens which I think makes it trickier than when they were small as they are up late and we have 3 so it’s rare that they are all out at the same time 😬

Not very often. Maybe once a month, sometimes less. We’ve never been much bothered and DH has been particularly off it recently because he’s had issues with his vertigo and… well, too much motion means he’s lying down with the room spinning.

I don’t see why it matters so long as nobody is complaining. We’ve been together around 15 years and are in our 30s.

Mid 40’s here. Kids still at home. We are about once a fortnight at the moment. If that. This is the worst it’s ever been. I moved into the spare room due to snoring and it’s just gone to shit now. I love sleeping by myself. It’s just way more important.

Never, due to health problems and ED. He won't take anything for it. Haven't don't it for around 20 years now and never likely to.

We’re both 34, together 10 years, two kids aged 4 and a new baby. Honestly like once a month. Husband would like it more often, I’d honestly be happy with once or twice a year… appreciate that’s not normal but I just cannot summon the energy for it.

why the need to know what other's find suitable for their life/stage?
you are happy it with your routine (fairly happy it seems although you said you would be okay with more) so does it really matter what mn average is?

Even in my prime, I never had it daily !! Literally couldn't imagine.
We do it 2 times a week max, sometimes none and sometimes more. But we went 18 months without it (all pregnancy due to early bleeding then 9 months after as no drive). Not ideal but it wasn't a priority for me, and tbh we were both too tired anyway.

My ex-husband and I were dtd 2-4 times a week until the last 6 months where it dropped down to once a week (as he was cheating)

20yrs together, three kids under 8. Probably 2 times a month. My hormones are to blame for the frequency, I’m either on my period or very hormonal. We DTD usually in the week after my period when I’m feeling vaguely myself!
