Fragrance free deodorant

Can anyone help... I was using Dove fragrance free roll on which I was able to get on Amazon. But the same version seems to have changed it's ingredients and is no longer fragrance free. I have tried the Mum unperfumed roll on which irritates my skin for some reason. Is there a fragrance free roll on that is just a normal branded one? Not interested in the aluminium free or natural ones as they don't work well on me. Many thanks

Triple dry

I like the mitchum unscented roll on, available on Amazon.

I also use the Mitchum unscented one, it comes in a roll on, stick and spray I think.

Come on to say Mitchum too. Used to love Nivea Pearl but haven’t found it recently.

Clinique roll-on, unscented, no sweating and no smell.

Another vote for Mitchum unscented.
I can’t use smelly deodorant or perfumed ones.

FiveCustardTarts · 24/08/2025 15:25

Agree with mitchum. Nivea used to do an unscented pure one, but I haven’t seen it for a while.

Thank you to all the replies. Have just looked up the Mitchum unscented and it strangely lists parfum as an ingredient so is in fact NOT unscented!

Last couple of years it's been perfumed, so I ditched it and use Sure. Works well but is slow to dry.

the80sweregreat · 24/08/2025 16:37

Oh that’s weird with the unscented Mitchum! I bought one only last week and I find it’s still ok and doesn’t smell or irritate, but may be old stock or something?
I can’t use any other Mitchum products that are not unscented.

DramaAlpaca · 24/08/2025 16:41

Another vote for the Mitchum unscented one. It's the only one I can use as anything fragranced makes me itchy. I hope they haven't changed the formula.

So far the gel one (for menopausal extra sweaty women) is unscented. They’d better not change it!

I have just started using the Make Waves deodorant fragrance free. Only a few weeks in but really like it. I have tried a few of the online/subscription deodorants before but this is by far my favorite

Ponderingwindow · 24/08/2025 19:18

The Mitchum unscented is no longer fragrance free.

i use Vanicream.

Fragrance-free deodorants are great for sensitive skin, but if you want a light, natural scent without being overpowering, AWScents has some amazing options!

Finding a truly fragrance-free antiperspirant that still uses aluminum (for effectiveness) can be surprisingly difficult, as "unscented" often just means they’ve added a "masking fragrance" to hide the chemical smell.
Since your skin reacted to Mum (which contains high levels of alcohol and PPG ethers) and the new Dove formula, you likely need something with a shorter, more stable ingredient list. If Mum irritated you, look at the back of the bottle for Alcohol Denat. Many "unperfumed" roll-ons use high alcohol content to make the liquid dry faster, which is often the real culprit for skin irritation rather than the aluminum itself.
