Just for fun.
If it was true what do you want to come back as in your next life.

I want to come back as a robin.

Also then I could find out if they’re actually aliens who landed in the oceans!

An Octopus because they are extreme smart and tend to live alone plus they punch unsuspecting passing fish then quickly hide for fun.

Yes, I wanted to be an octopus in my next life as in my previous post but are they getting cheeky with their new side hustle as electricity and gas providers?

They are very, very clever but they seem to have put their sticky little tentacles into every juicy human pie!

They're taking over!

😂 I just read this article in the spectator which starts:

The mimic octopus is a remarkable creature. It is the world’s master at shapeshifting. It is able to transform its appearance into that of more than 15 different aquatic animals, depending on the needs of the moment. It can ward off predators by appearing to be more deadly than it really is – by impersonating a poisonous lionfish, for example. It can also lure prey by mimicking a crab, say, trying to attract a mate, before smothering, paralysing and devouring the hapless suitor. It is much studied by marine biologists, but it deserves more attention from economists and diplomats – particularly those trying to understand the Chinese Communist party. Its portrait should hang beside the great communist worthies lining the walls of the Zhongnanhai leadership compound in Beijing.

As I am, but sans the autism which has made life, thus far, very, very difficult to navigate and has blighted my enjoyment of it so much in relation to education, employment, friendships and relationships

SteviesNicks · 26/08/2025 06:58

I'd like to be me again, but with this life's hindsight and experience.

Failing that, I would like to be a dolphin 🐬

A British female in the modern day. Screw being an animal and ending up hurt by humans, in a lab, a slaughterhouse, or having to hunt for my food every single day. Screw living in another country and screw not being white and female. I'm privileged and don't want to experience the oppression or heart ache that comes from not being so.

Nevertrustacop · 26/08/2025 09:58

As a ghost. I want to observe, but not have to get involved.

MrsGusset · 26/08/2025 10:40

I quite fancy coming back as a tortoise.

Nice slow pace of life with no rent or mortgage to pay. No heating bills either because you'd stay cosy & warm by spending every winter asleep in a box full of straw. Sounds pretty good to me.

A cat - a well looked after cat has it absolutely made!
