Who can help me plot this journey?

I need to do the following next week and I would be very grateful for some wisdom:

Get either a Park and Ride or train from Cookham/Maidenhead/similar into London

Drop several young people off at two different theatres - one in the West End, the other at the Apollo, Pimlico

Regather the young people after the shows that finish around 22.20, and get back to Cookham/Marlow/similar

Can anyone familiar with the geography and transport recommend the best way of doing this? None of the young people are old enough to travel alone, and two of them are not great in crowds, so if there is a calmer/quieter option, then we'd probably opt for that.

Sorry, to be clear - there will be an adult with them at each theatre, to walk them/tube them to a meeting point to travel back, but I need to arrange how they do it.

Go from Maidenhead. The train from Cookham/Marlow will have to change there anyway.
Reading would be better, as you can get the fast train to Paddington.

Thank you - good advice. From a look at the options, it seems that the best idea would be for the Sondheim group to travel to Victoria Station, as it's just across the road from the Apollo, then Circle or District Line together into Paddington, then train back. Does that sound like a decent plan?

Maidenhead to Bond St on the Elizabeth Line. Exit via the Hanover Sq exit and walk the few yards to Oxford Circus. Get the Victoria Line and those going to Victoria get off at Victoria and those going to Pimlico continue one more stop

Those going to the West End stay on the Elizabeth Line to Tottenham Court Road. Those going to the Apollo Theatre, get off at Bond St and change to the Victoria Line getting off at Victoria (not Pimlico)

Thank you, I appreciate your help. DH has just suggested P&R going from Slough. Would that be a better option do you think?

It makes no difference as you’ll be getting the Elizabeth line from Slough. I’d get on at Maidenhead as both the station and the train itself tend to be quieter.
