How does this work for UCAS Phone Numbers?

I recently got a new phone number so need to update my UCAS account so that my university / other universities know which is my correct and current phone number?

Is it as simple as changing the number and then the universities being informed or do the universities not get automatically informed and I have to contact them myself?

At this stage just tell the uni you will be attending. You don’t need UCAS unless you reapply in future.

If you are ging to university next month, your contract is now with the university. You will put your new phone number into your university profile. I don't think DD's 2 universities have ever needed to phone her about anything over 5 years so it's not a major thing and new students often get new phones & numbers.

If you have decided to opt out this year, you would change the details with UCAS for your next round of applications.
