Hi all I have recently started suffering with continuous panic attacks, I have suffered for years with them but always on and off and have gone long periods without them then that cam back with a bang at the beginning of July and have been constant since, I can’t go anywhere without it happening I feel so terrible on my kids my 11 yr old was trying to calm me down at his dentist appointment last week, I honestly don’t know what is causing them as I have nothing particularly stressful going on but I’m scared I’m going to become acrophobia at this point, been to gp and they prescribed 50mg sertraline which I have been on for about 5 weeks now and they don’t seem to be making any difference, I feel like I need serious help and don’t know where to turn

Have you had a check up? Anxiety and panic have lots of physical causes. Ask for beta blockers, they help stop the physical effects and make you feel like you're more in control. Magnesium glycinate can help alongside other supplements.

There's lots of info here:
