I am baffled by their behaviour. According to the Alexa App, they have renamed themselves as Sam's Echo Dot (Sam is one of my DDs), Sam's 2nd Echo Dot and so on. We have 4 of them and they're all Sam's now apparently!
My other daughter (Olivia) has a new Echo Dot in her bedroom and it has renamed itself Sam's 2nd Echo Dot! This is virtually a brand new device and we definitely didn't give it that name!
If Olivia is playing music via her Spotify on this so-called Sam's 2nd Echo Dot and I try play music on my phone via Spotify, it automatically picks up that Echo Dot and when I try to change the settings to play my music on my phone only, it cuts Olivia's music off in her bedroom!
Bloody things. Is it best to reset the bloody lot of them since they seem to be so utterly mixed up? And if so, how do I do that? We only have one Amazon Account (mine) which they're all currently linked to. Should we all have our own Amazon accounts each connected to a different Echo Dot to avoid this? Thank you
