If you take supplements (collagen, protein powder, magnesium and the likes) and you travel abroad a lot….

Is there no problem with taking these items in your luggage?
I have visions of them X-Raying my suitcase and seeing powders and pills then ripping it open and me being hailed into a room.

i am going to Qatar - I have googled but can only find info on prescribed drugs rather than supplements

I am keto so take powdered electrolytes, my collagen and creatine powders in little zip lock bags.

Ive never been stopped. Would be funny though 😂

I’m in Spain at the mo and had my Johnsons baby powder drug tested at Stansted😂

Oh god no way- did you have to wait a long time to get your luggage?

I don’t know what to do, I’ve googled it 100 times and can’t find anything about being able to take it

We took creatine powder in a little Tupperware tub. I fully expected to be questioned but went through no bother

I keep my stuff in its packaging, unopened. I use milled chia and flax seeds, wheat bran, protein powder, vitamins and so on.

I do check a bag in though, never use cabin cases and haven't had a problem yet. I only put my prescription meds in handbag on board.

I don't have anything powdered but I do take a variety of food supplements, in a ziplock bag with the names of the products sharpied on the bag. Never had any problems, even with meds (I take eg Nurofen Plus with me on holiday as paracetamol doesn't work on me). They obviously look like standard meds, but they've never been queried anywhere.

I would leave things in their original packaging where possible, just in case, but it's unlikely it'll create any problems. (Wouldn't there be sniffer dogs behind the scenes to detect anything untoward, they won't be triggered by creatine et al)

I took hand luggage only. They have only launched the new scanners where you don’t remove anything liquid or electrical however it did seem they were spot checking a lot more after it went through the scanner. Waited about 5 mins.
