Perfect med resort?

I went to Es Cana in Ibiza a few years ago and it was lovely. Friendly resort, enough to do, very pretty, not too tacky. The hotel has now changed to a different brand and doesn’t appeal. these are the criteria
can anyone help with another resort?

-pretty with nice walks / stroll (not hikes) some trees
-not too tacky or commercialised
-not too big
-gorgeous beach with snorkelling -a range of bars and shops and so on so a one horse town
-things to do pedaloes/land train/ boat trip/ transport to nearby POI
-no midges
-preferable under 3 hours from uk—nice hotel pref adults only or SC Air BNB
-destination as a whole is nice Ibiza is gorgeous land compact.

You aren't going to find anywhere in the Med without mosquitoes. I've even got them in my garden in the UK. You need to wear repellent.

Love Es Cana too - going back next month for the 4th time in 3 years! There are lots of nice hotels but it depends what you are looking for - adults only, AI, pool etc?

Port Soller, Majorca ?

Never been bitten on Ibiza. I get bitten to buggery everywhere else.

the new adults only between Cala Nova and Es Cana looks lovely.

we have stayed at the Sirenis AI. Food is not good imo but we factor in eating out anyway. My kids love it, they are old enough now to have the freedom to walk along the shops and look at all the toot on their own. We went there again this year just so they could get drinks / ice cream / snacks as they want on AI.

looking at Leonardo for next year.

Ibiza is terrible for Mosquitoes, all the Balearics are.

Ok-ignore the no midges criteria it not a big deal!

OP we've stayed at Las Arenas, Mar Y Huerta and Nags Head. Our favourite is Mar Y Huerta - rooms are spacious, clean and the pool area is lovely, although it gets crowded in the school holidays as it's open to non-residents. None are adult only, although there tends to be fewer children at Las Arenas because of the lack of pool but not all of the rooms have a balcony. Nags Head is functional but probably wouldn't go back mainly because we prefer b&b and it's self catering only. The pool is open to non-residents and quite small so not ideal in busy times.
We tend to spend most days at the beach anyway so a nice b&b suits us perfectly, hope you find somewhere that you like

Vilamoura Hilton ticks a lot of your list-clearly not exactly what you specified!, but from what you've said, you might like it. Easy travelling, anyway.

Don’t go to the Leonardo. Food was horrible, the apartment block part was so dingy and the kids entertainment (if you need it) was in a hall with no air-con. Hideous place!
