I’ve redecorated my sitting room and I’m really happy 😊

Moved into the house after my divorce 3 years ago, and it’s taking me forever to redo it and generally make it feel like home. Combo of lack of time/money/being arsed 😁. But I’ve had a week off work while the DCs are at their dad’s house and I’ve repainted the sitting room at last! It was very drab before, and I feel like I’ve added some personality. Maybe not to everyone’s taste but I’m happy and just wanted to share!

I love that. Green is my favourite colour for decor and I have quite alot of it in the house. Not quite that shade, but I really like what you've done and the room looks great.

That's beautiful. I'm getting my room painted in September and will definitely be looking for a dupe of that colour - I don't want to pay someone to do three coats!

2 years is still a long time.... magnolia, I'd have asked about painting it white (& leaving it white when I moved out) before I even moved in. I cannot abide magnolia.

But you're not me & if you can live with it...
people probably couldn't live with my plastered walls either but they don't bother me (except for feeling embarrassed they're still not painted🙇🏻‍♀️)
