The Guardian prize crossword by Paul, no less!!
I usually think I’ve done well with Paul if I get a handful of solutions, but something seemed to click last night and this morning. I had to look up Bartok’s first name but all the rest were from my own head.

I've never finished a crossword in my life, not even the Take a Break ones 🤣

I once finished the Telegraph crossword on the train. I ostentatiously left it open on the table. Unsurprisingly, nobody was left speechless by my brilliance.

I have never completed a cryptic crossword before or after, without copious use of a thesaurus.

Yes, that was evil! I had solved a couple of them straight off, but still couldn't make head nor tail of what the "phrase" might be - got there eventually!
